What meant to be an other great Relentless Reaching evening, became an extra ordinary reaching night!!
Nixon a hero in our campus, who knows everybody and opens doors in fellowships around MUK, had arranged us a performance on a worship night.
Now we arrive there with our top deck team and all electricity is gone. Some of us were still flyering at Mary steward one of the MUK hostels and there was a porridge night going on.
Not long after, Matt performs in front of the biggest audience ever, around a thousand at least. Mentioning about our Sunday Night Live event! People start dancing and drinking HOT porridge out of there home brought cans.
It was insane! I have never seen something like this before! Loads of people partying on porridge, drinking it like it was a full can of beer! Shouting oi oi oi and moving incredibly on the hip hop rhythms.
Of course we mixed in with our team, we found out about the dance moves of our fellow Ugandan freedomites, which were impressive and to become jealous of.. Mzungu’s as we are, we wont give in and try to show our best moves too, which definitely made some people go home!
This was such a fruit full time of fun and inviting people at the same time! Great connections and responses!
